Two [adjacent] houses, 80 Main Street and 84 Main Street, in the village of Owego have cobblestone foundations. They were both built in 1888 by Joel Hamilton. Interesting there were still masons around by that time who knew how to do this. These are just like the ones found in Cortland and Home. Both are now apartment houses.
